title-our proven process

Our IVF laboratory uses intracytoplasmic sperm injection, or ICSI, in all cases during the fertilization process to maximize the chances of a successful fertilization, at no extra cost to the patient.

Because we have a regular flow of donors, we do not have a waiting list, and our process is shorter than other egg donor programs.
Our program coordinators walk you through the entire process and ensure that your questions are answered and your needs are met.
The GlobalART process is very straight-forward:
  1. After you and your IVF physician agree that egg donation is the best possible treatment choice, you and your spouse or partner undergo a series of lab tests and complete and return the necessary paperwork and consent forms.
  2. Your spouse or partner's sperm (or donor sperm, if indicated) is then collected, cryopreserved in your IVF physician's facility, and shipped to GlobalART USA in Richmond, Virginia, to await pickup. The courier, who carries all documents necessary to avoid direct or x-ray inspection of these materials, delivers the specimen to our laboratory in Eastern Europe. A refundable $500 deposit is due at this time.
  3. Once the sperm arrives overseas, you can select as many as three egg donors from our unique online database. Characteristics such as height, weight, education, hair color, eye color, blood type, and past pregnancies are listed for each donor. Once you submit your choices in preferred order, we contact you to finalize payment. View our online donor database.
  4. Typically, the eggs are fertilized within three to four weeks of the donor selection. Supervised by our partner IVF Physician, Dr. Ilya Barr, our experts perform the fertilization process in a state-of-the-art laboratory in Eastern Europe. They then cryopreserve the resulting embryos and we return them to our lab in Richmond, Virginia.
  5. We then arrange shipment of the embryos to your IVF physician's office. Your physician will perform your embryo transfer.
  6. A key advantage of our process is that cryopreserved embryos can remain frozen for years without damage. Then, you can schedule an embryo transfer date that is convenient for you and your physician.
The entire program, from the beginning of the process to delivery of the embryos, can take as little as three to five months.
GlobalART offers the following two Pricing Programs:
Shared Cycle: The patient receives half of a donor's eggs in any one cycle for $8,400. With a normal sperm sample, the patient is guaranteed at least five embryos.
Unshared Cycle: The patient receives all of the donor's eggs in one cycle for $13,650. With a normal sperm sample, the patient is guaranteed at least 10 embryos.
Occasionally, a patient may receive more, depending on the number of eggs retrieved. With an Unshared Cycle, a patient could possibly have three or even four embryo transfers for the original cost.
